When parents, grandparents, godparents, aunts and uncles all buy on their own, the pile under the tree grows by simple addition: each of them gives in moderation, and together it becomes far more than anyone planned. A fixed number of gifts rarely holds, because it only applies in the household that agreed on it – the great-aunt who orders something in November knows nothing about it. If several relatives would like to give something bigger, a group gift can help: one wish that nobody would buy alone – a bike, an instrument, a good microscope – with a note in its „Description“ such as „This wish could be a group gift – feel free to team up with others.“ Without such a note, relatives tend to shy away from the price. A note in the „Description“ such as „Made to order – best ordered early“ tells gift-givers why it's worth reserving this wish soon.

Will I be notified when a Christmas wish is fulfilled?
Yes, if you like. You'll receive an e-mail as soon as someone reserves a wish – without revealing which one. To see which wish was reserved, check „Fulfilled wishes“ on your wish list. You can turn on the notification when you create your wish list, or later by selecting „Edit“ in the dropdown menu of the „Wish list“ button.
Can I see which wishes have been fulfilled?
Yes. You can see all reserved wishes at any time via the „Fulfilled wishes“ button on your wish list. In the normal view, reserved wishes stay hidden so the surprise lasts until Christmas. If you allow gift givers to leave their name when you create your wish list or later under „Edit“, you can also see who reserved a wish – provided they entered their name.
What belongs on a Christmas wish list besides toys?
A Christmas wish list can also include books, tech, home accessories, vouchers, cosy everyday things and experiences. This makes the list useful for different age groups and budgets.
Can I also add wishes without a link to my letter to Santa?
Yes. As well as products from online shops, you can add any wish yourself – for example a toy from a local store, a voucher or an experience. A short description and a photo make it clear what you mean. This way, all your wishes for Santa are on one wish list.

Yes. Create a separate wish list for each family member. All lists created with the same e-mail address appear together under „My wish lists“ in your wish list overview. You can also follow other lists in the „Other wish lists“ tab. This makes it easy to keep track of everyone's Christmas wishes.
Can we edit our child's wish list together?
Yes. Share your wish list with trusted people, such as the other parent, using the link in the dropdown menu of the „Wish list“ button. They can use this link to edit the list with you. Please note: anyone with this link can also delete the wish list.
